Our 10-10-09 Wedding

The Dress!

Mori Lee - style # 2102 , pearl and cafe colors

I actually found this dress at a little bridal/prom shop near where my mom lives... on clearance!  I am very proud of our find - we only paid $399 for it!  Since it was on clearance, we bought the one right there in the store (and there was only one) and it was at least 8 sizes too big for me.  But we found an amazing seamstress who did all of the alterations for $100!  She basically re-made the whole thing... she took in about 5 inches of the length, about 6 inches from around the bodice, added pleats to the back to make up for the loss in the bodice, made a 3-point french bustle, added custom-made straps (from the extra skirt fabric), AND did a temporary taking-in of crinoline we borrowed from a friend!

Here is me (with my mom) in the dress after the 2nd fitting.  You can see the custom-made straps here.  They were a little wide here, so we had her cut them down a little after that.  I love them! :)

Earrings

DH actually picked these out for me!  He works at a jewelery store and he came across these so we ordered them.  I think they went perfectly with my dress!

Undies!

I got these from Victoria's Secret.  I actually asked a worker there because I told her I wanted something cute but something that covered enough since my mom and bridesmaids would be helping me get dressed and go to the bathroom that day.  She actually found these "in the back" so I think they're discontinued right now.

They were completely comfortable and a great "something blue!"  I compared these to their current styles (I bought a couple other "normal" pairs while I was there) and they were very similar in coverage to their "cheeky" undies.

Garter

Yep, DH is a big fan. :)  I got these from LetsDanceGarters.com.  They were great to work with.  I didn't shop around for garters, but I thought it was a good price.

Bridesmaids

Bill Levkoff - style # 551, sable dress color with sand ribbon color

I love these dresses - they seem to flatter all figures!  I also love that the detail on the hem mimics the ribbon detail on my gown.  They came with optional spaghetti straps that we may use.  I also got them bolero jackets to wear too.  The right side is my sister (MOH) in the dress with the jacket.

Bridesmaids' shoes... how cute are they?!  I love them.  My sister (MOH) found a pair in a Macy's on clearance and we ordered the other 2 pairs online.  They're Nina brand, Victoria style, in chocolate satin.

This is super blurry because FI kept posing and moving around... but you can still see the colors.  Groomsmen have the same colors, just the vest and tie colors switched.

(Fathers)

They won't have the pinstripe look, but these are the colors.
